Kaye Donachie

Kaye Donachie is a contemporary British painter. Her modest-sized, figurative works use imagery relating to modernism, domesticity, and longing. Her atmospheric paintings are animated by her interest in countercultural history, utopian projects, and female heroines.

Kaye was born in Glasgow and currently lives and works in London. She graduated with an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art in 1997. She has exhibited in solo shows, most recently in London, Berlin, New York, and Los Angeles and her work is currently part of a group show titled un mural, des tableaux, at Frac Ile‑de‑France, Paris.

Kaye will talk about her practice, drawing on examples taken from her body of work that has been seen in galleries around the world.
